Nowhere else in the world is there a place such as the Principality of Comborciere. Indeed, the Principality of Comborciere is the only gay and lesbian space up high.

This high place is situated some 1850 metres up in the magnificent skiing domain of the Sybelles. The Sybelles is the 4th European skiing domain. You will experience all the colours from blue slopes to black ones but you will leave and return to the chalet, on skis.

It is the sea you prefer? Never mind, there are seas of clouds here and above all the storvatt. The storvatt is the ancestor of the Jacuzzi. In its water, your body will relax at body temperature. You forget the cold because, regardless of storms, in front of a welcome mulled wine, the open fire will light up your gorgeous tan.

Gays? Of course! But we are mountain people first of all and we are eager to let you in on our traditions: the way we live so high up, our gastronomy which will keep you on form for the next day's ramblings.as well as our baroque churches where you will be able to absolve your sins.

We have kept the simple but warm comfort of the hotel of our childhood. Mountain people we are very close to nature and, without falling into extreme ecological idealism, we scrupulously respect water as a diminishing resource; hence you will not find a luxury bath at Comborciere but three of the rooms have their own showers and there are communal showers as well as another individual one for all the sports people.
